Tender Details

Griffith's current monitored lease and print usage contract providing more than 360 multi-function devices (MFD) across multiple campuses, will expire on 1 December 2024. The contract was established in 2016 and there is no immediate continuation pathway, due to the age of the leased printers. The costs associated with ongoing maintenance for these old devices are not feasible, either for Griffith or the vendor. It is expected that the successful supplier will implement the new PIaaS solution by the end of 2024. Griffith-s objectives for this initiative is to select an experienced PIaaS supplier to achieve the following: - Delivery of a PIaaS solutions that meets the changing needs of Griffith Staff and students over the life of the contract. - A fully managed PIaaS solution that supports Griffith-s adaptable environment to scale and change as required. - A modern MFD fleet, leading to more energy-efficient printers that meet Griffith-s environmental sustainability goals - Improved cost effectiveness. - Fleet reduction. Over the course of the contract, Griffith would like guidance from the supplier with ways to reduce printing/MFD usage over the course of the contract. Therefore, Griffith requires the ability to scale up or down as required with minimal disruption to staff and students. For transparency, Griffith-s Mt Gravatt Campus is scheduled to close operation by the end of 2025, and newly installed printers will need to be removed or relocated as necessary.
