The object of the procurement is Metsaehallitus Metsaetalous Oy's forest information system renewalrelated system of tactical planning.

The entirety of the renewal of the forest information system consists of three different parts. This procurement only applies to part 2:

Part 1) Kaira forest information system (forest resource data management and action planning)

- the system is in the implementation phase

Part 2) Tactical suthe system of congratulation (tactical planning and profitability calculation of road projects) and

Part 3) Metsaehallitus tiet system (management of road information and planning of road measures).

The tactical planning system implements Metsaehallitus Metsaetalous Oy's medium-term forest directionin areas of several thousand hectares based on simulation and optimization. The tactical planning system will utilize the Kaira system's forest resource data and Metsaehallitusen tiet system's road data. In the implementation, attention should be paid to compatibility and inintegrations into the Kaira and Metsaehallitus tiet systems, and to take into account the choices made in the Kaira system regarding architecture, non-functional requirements and other technical solutions, to the extent that they affect the implementation of the tactical planning system.
