Railway bridges constitute vital points of these infrastructure, so its maintenance and conservation requires special attention. This forces to carry out technical inspections of a periodic, as well as, where appropriate, the maintenance work that proceeds, with thepurpose, on the one hand, to avoid risks that may produce accidents, with possible damage to people and goods, and interruptions of a basic transport service such as rail and, on the other, to keep them in adequate conditions of use, minimizing the costs associated with theirConservation.
