This procurement covers the provision of renewals and certain enhancements works on TfGM Metrolink and Rail networks. Aswell as all other works applicable to TfGM owned and/or managed infrastructure.
The overriding objective of the new delivery model is to enable TfGM to deliver Metrolink/Rail renewals and enhancements as well as other schemes applicable to TfGM, in the most efficient manner from a time, cost and quality perspective.
The key objectives for a new delivery model are therefore to simplify the route to market, noting the relatively tight time pressures in what is necessarily a significantly reactive capital space, and a more straightforward way of coordinating network access.
