Lot 1 Heavy Civils Enabling Works for Call-off Contracts with an estimated value of €50 million or more (excluding VAT) and those determined by the Contracting Authority to be complex call-off contracts of any value which may require specific technical or specialist resources. Lot 2 Heavy Civils Enabling Works for Call-off contracts with an estimated value less than €50 million (excluding VAT) except those to be included in Lot 1.
Lot 2 will consist of call off contracts for elements of civils works, which may include retaining walls, other foundation/support works, as well as other contract packages. The first call off contract to be awarded under Lot 2 is expected to be for excavation and removal of piling works near to Tara Street station. Further call offs under Lot 2 are anticipated potentially for retaining walls, construction of walkways/bridges, or other related contract packages yet to be identified. The scope of the first call off contract under Lot 2 is expected to comprise the following: Tara Street works: • Excavate and remove existing piles and infill excavation; Construction of support piles and temporary works • Ground excavation and backfill works, including reinstatement of surface finishes • Civil and structural design of retaining structures, temporary works, and works to remove existing piles • Demolition and/or removal of any piling columns or foundation materials as may be required • Perform the roles of PSDP and PSCS • Traffic & pedestrian manageme...
