THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a combined sources sought and notice of intent to award a sole source contract. Should this notice fail to identify viable alternatives and/or capable resellers of the sought equipment, a direct award will be issued directly to Research Electronics International, LLC, IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.The government is seeking one MESA Mobility Enhanced Spectrum Analyzer (2.0). The MESA is a specialized portable hand-held spectrum analyzer with a rapid sweep speed and functionality suited for detecting unknown, illegal, disruptive, and anomalous rogue transmissions across a wide frequency range. Critical minimum features required:

. Handheld Spectrum Analyzer

. Sweeps 200GHz per second

. Persistence, Live Raster Waterfall Display, RSSI mode

. Patent Pending Cached Peak Function

. Patent Pending Smart Bars Mode to quickly identify new signals

. Mobile Bands Mode showing RF levels of customizable spans

. Wifi and Bluetooth modes to identify access points
