The 12ftw/ afsec requires an upgrade to their existing merlin aircraft birdstrike avoidance radar system (merlin) in use at the jbsa-randolph airfield. This upgrade will replace four (4) radar interface/signal processing computers that are no longer supported by windows xp with two (2) new computers that are compatible with the current rcix legacy cards.
