The Kanta-Häme welfare district is starting a market survey of the pharmaceuticals, radiation sources and dosing used in the operation of the isotope unit related consumables. Ahvenisto Hospital's isotope imaging unit will tender for Tc-99m and Ga-68 labeling kits, ready-to-use radiopharmaceuticals (SPET and PET), calibration and quality assurance sources, Mo-99/Tc-99m generators, Ge-68/Ga-68 generators with accessories, as well as Technegas and Karl100 consumables (patient sets and day sets). It is possible that some of the competitive products will not be ordered at all, if, for example, there is no demand for the examinations/treatments in question. The purchase of the Ge-68/Ga-68 generator and related kits is not currently relevant at least during the first year of the contract. The sub-areas included in the future competition and the products included in them are presented in Appendix 1.
