Medical suitability assessments As the largest national, civilian security body in Switzerland, the armed and/or uniformed part of the Federal Office of Customs and Border Security (hereinafter BAZG) performs a diverse range of tasks. In addition include, among other things: processing and control of customs processes in the movement of goods, searches for people, vehicles and property, combating narcotics smuggling and document forgery, immigration and traffic police tasks. The main task of the BAZG is: to contribute to the safety and protection of the population, the economy, the Swiss state and the environment. The BAZG operates domestically, at the borders and abroad.
