The City of Santa Cruz Parks & Recreation Department is requesting proposals for the implementation of a median maintenance program. The program aims to maintain approximately 13 miles of landscaped and hardscaped street medians, including roundabouts within the City of Santa Cruz city limits. Maintenance includes (but is not limited to) the following:Weed ControlLitter & Debris RemovalMulchPruning/TrimmingIrrigation Observation & Minor AdjustmentsHardscape CleaningSeasonal Planting & ReplacementsTraffic ControlRecord-KeepingIPM ReportingWork shall comply with the following standards:Best practices of landscape maintenance: California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) standards and industry normsUniversity of California Statewide Integrated Pest Management (UC IPM) GuidelinesCalifornia Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) requirementsCal/OSHA safety regulationsProvide traffic control per CA MUTCDThe City of Santa Cruz requests proposals from qualified firms for median maintenance services.
