Mechanical engineering work Waterline WWTP Emmen: Aeration and other Description:Purpose of the tender The aim of this European public tender is to conclude an agreement per lot with one contractor for the mechanical engineer work for the Emmen Waterline WWTP. Description of the Client Water is of vital importance. We need it as drinking water, for arable farming, in livestock farming and in industry. In the Netherlands there is usually enough water, but it is often unevenly distributed and polluted. That is why water management is necessary. Where there is too much water, the water boards drain it. Where there is too little, they supply it. They regulate the discharge of polluted water with permits. They purify the sewage water and maintain it the water defences. The Vechtstromen Water Board includes roughly Twente, Southeast Drenthe and Northeast Overijssel. The management area covers 225, 000 hectares, has 800, 000 inhabitants and approximately 470, 000 households. Lots The assignment consists of the following lots: Lot 1: Emmen waterline: Mechanical engineering work Aeration and mixing Lot 2: Emmen waterline: Mechanical engineering Recirculation, surplus sludge thickening and various activities. A description per plot is included in Mercell SourcetoContract (hereinafter: Mercell). The requirements set by the Contracting Authority from the main tender apply to all lots, unless explicitly stated otherwise. You must always register for the main tender and then you must also register for the plot or plots for which you want to register. You are allowed to play on one (1) or on to register multiple plots.
