Synopsis:
The 22nd Contracting Squadron - McConnell AFB, KS, 67221 on behalf of the 22nd Air Refueling Wing intends to award a firm fixed price contract under FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) to only one responsible source, AT&T Corp. They are the contractor used for the previous requirement of Local Telecommunication Service. Market research revealed that Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) awarded a competitive, firm-fixed-price, single award, IDIQ contract (HC1013-22-D-0001) to AT&T Corp. in Dec 2021. This service will be transitioning to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) within the next six-years and the current requirement is a stop gap until DISA is ready to handle the increased load.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 517111 and the size standard is 1500 employees.
