During spring/summer 2023, the Norwegian Police Shared Service [Politiets Fellestjenester (PFT)] will hold a contest for the canine service in the Norwegian Police Service [Politi- og lensmannsetaten], the Norwegian Correctional Services [Kriminalomsorgen] and Norwegian Customs [Tolletaten] with an estimated deadline in Q3/Q4 2023. The need is for regular off-the-shelf products with a possibility for special customisation for a few products. In connection with this, PFT is conducting a market survey to get an overview of potential tenderers and how the market can meet the needs of the Police Service, to obtain information on how to appropriately divide the products into categories and how we can rig the contest in the best possible way with one or more lots. The received information shall form a basis for continue the preparation of the tender documentation and it shall make us better prepared for implementing the tender contest in the best possible manner.
