Expression of Interest are invited for Market Study on Digitization Needs of Vsmes in Ecuador including Women-Led Businesses
The consulting firm will design and conduct market research to better understand the needs, preferences, and aspirations of Very Small Enterprises (VSE) and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in Ecuador, including women-led enterprises, to digitalize their business and better participate in the digital economy. The results will help to inform the design of a value proposition for non-financial services. Non-financial services (NFS), in its broader meaning, are business development services offered by financial institutions to complement their core financial offering to unlock the growth potential for VSMEs. NFS could include an array of services under the following main categories: capacity and skill-building platforms, advice/mentorship, networking and markets, business management technologies, and business digital enhancers such as e-commerce platforms and digital marketing solutions, among others. Digital NFS help develop the digital capacities of the VSMEs to impact their growth potential and/or could be delivered through digital channels.
The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
