Army contracting command - warren (acc-wrn) is conducting a market survey to determine the level of interest among qualified contractors in providing spare parts for range equipment previously procured.
The purposes of this market survey are to identify the best of potential offerors, and gather information for planning purposes about the capabilities of each industry source as defined in federal acquisition regulation 15.201(e). The input will help acc-wrn ascertain the interest, capability, and capacity of all potential offerors. The projected ordering period will be five years.
General description of equipment requiring spare parts:
potential future contracting actions may solicit for the procurement of various types of spare parts specific to end items procured under army targetry systems (ats) i/ ats ii. The ability to procure parts to maintain each of these ranges will result in further capability to sustain existing army ranges at over 90 sustainable range program (srp) installations. The following is a sample list of end items that the army has a need to acquire spare parts for:

-c double target arm stationary infantry targets (dtasits)

-c moving infantry targets (mits)

-c stationary armor targets (sats)

-c heavy stationary armor targets (hsats)

-c moving armor targets (mats)

-c hand held controllers (hhcs)

-c control software

-c muzzle flash simulators (mfss)

-c sound effects simulators (sess)

-c multiple integrated laser engagement system (miles) shootback device holders (msdh)

-c portable maintenance actuators (pmas)

-c video monitoring systems (vms)

-c cameras

-c known distance (kd) targets

-c iron maidens

-c lifting shields

-c tower data interfaces

-c emplacement data interfaces

-c thermal interfaces

-c aviation homestation interim package (ahip) after action review (aar)
