The IESO uses insights gained from market research to inform business decisions and activities, and regularly conducts market research with multiple audiences and stakeholders, including mass market, Ontario businesses, channel partners, municipal and Indigenous communities, IESO market participants, and IESO program participants. To support, among other things, its demand-side management (DSM) initiatives (e.g., Save on Energy programs), stakeholder and community engagement processes, system planning, and other corporate communications activities, through this RFP the IESO is seeking expertisein market research and intends to enter into an Agreement with a single Service Provider. The Service Provider must be able to provide comprehensive services (as described in the RFP) and will be required to recommend, design, implement, and report on a wide range of regularly recurring market researchprojects and ad hoc market research activities.
