Today's four bus contracts in the Bergen area - Bergen south, West, Bergen center and Bergen north - expire in June 2028 and June 2030 respectively. All contracts have an option to extend for 1+1 years. Take precautions competitors on new contracts and as part of this work has assessed several alternative contract divisions for the new contracts, both with more and fewer contracts than today. Electrification of the bus fleet will be a significant change from existing to new contracts, with the exception of the city centre, which has electric buses today. With this request to the market, Skyss wishes to: - Orient the operator market on future route package division (Part 2) - Ask for an assessment from the operator market on whether a transition to battery operation may result in the need for more buses (Part 3)
