Market dialogue: Framework agreement for chemicals for water and sewage systems
OFA IKS is to establish a framework agreement for the supply of chemicals to water and sewage systems throughout Agder. The purpose of the procurement is to ensure stable, safe and predictable access to chemicals that are necessary for the production of drinking water and the treatment of waste water. The procurement will contribute to an efficient, robust and regulated operation of the water and waste water facilities, with high delivery reliability and a reduced risk of service interruptions in functions critical to society. The supplier must deliver documented suitable products and assist with the necessary professional expertise and advice throughout the entire agreement period. The framework agreement includes chemicals for, among other things: Precipitation and post-precipitation during sewage treatment Sludge treatment, including flocculation, thickening and dewatering Drinking water treatment, including removal of colour, turbidity and particles The agreement includes, among other things, precipitation chemicals, polymers and other chemicals used in water and wastewater treatment.
