The client is subject to the law and regulations on public procurement (LOA and FOA). IN Vestfold County Council is responsible for a number of areas that affect people of all ages in their daily lives. Our organization consists of around 2, 400 employees with tasks across various areas. Among other things, we are responsible for the 10 upper secondary schools in the county with over 8, 000 pupils and 1, 450 employees. We are responsible for public transport and county roads, and if you are going to the dentist, it is likely that you will visit one of our 14 dental clinics. Our role also extends far into community development, where we engages us in efforts towards climate, industry, society and planning, culture and cultural heritage. This is one of the things that illustrates the breadth of our interdisciplinary development organisation. The county council is a politically controlled organization and every four years it is county council elections. There are a total of 41 members in the county council in Vestfold county municipality. The County Council makes decisions in major and principled matters.
