IVAGO is investigating the development of an activity on its current site, after the closure of the waste-to-energy plant (June 2030), that promotes a circular economy, combines materials management and sustainable use of raw materials. The activity contributes to IVAGO's positioning in the transition to materials management. Assignment Phase 1: Research and concept development (by March 2027) What activity can IVAGO perform? develop its site to inspire and actively involve stakeholders in the transition from waste to materials management? The contractor carries out an exploratory study into the opportunities, trends, good practices, feasibility and feasibility innovative concepts. It is investigated which activities offer added value for IVAGO and its stakeholders, other current activities (e.g. transhipment, recycling park, offices, fleet, etc.) and needs (e.g. waste water) are taken into account. The proposed activities can be educational, (re)creative, technological or industrial. Hybrid concepts are also possible.
