Market consultation Optimization of water storage in Engelermeer At the beginning of 2026, the Aa en Maas water board started the plan development of the Engelermeer water storage optimization project, part of the Howabo (Brabant East Flood Protection) program. It The water board would like to make use of the knowledge and expertise of the market at an early stage, in order to provide direction for the further plan development process. There is currently no preliminary design (VO), which makes this a good time for the first one to collect information from the market, so that any lessons can be taken into account in the coming phases of the project. The water board's project team would like to gain insight into: - The composition of the market and the number potentially interested contractors to carry out the intended assignment. - How market parties view the method of contracting, tendering, phasing and realization, with the aim of making this project a success. - Suggestions from the market in order to better specify the assignment and possible tender and to align it with current trends and developments. All interested civil engineering contractors can register for an informative plenary presentation by the contracting authority.
