Market consultation ME clothing & protection 2026 In preparation for a possible (European) tender, the Police is organizing this market consultation on riot gear and protection for the Mobile Unit (ME) of the Dutch Police. Explanation: • The goal of this market consultation is to obtain relevant information from the market in the field of ME clothing and protection for, among other things, drawing up the business case, the tender strategy and ultimately the tender. • The Police currently has one framework agreement for all products as stated in the scope, which will expire at the beginning of October 2026. Subsequently, the intention for the time being is to conclude a bridging agreement with the current contractor until we can use the new framework agreement as a result of the European tender to be held. • The Police wants to continue the current concept for riot gear and protection as much as possible.
