The municipality of Venlo has one environmental station that is currently fully operated by an external market party. This means that the daily management of the environmental station, as well as the transport and processing of the collected waste flows. are completely outsourced. This operating model functions satisfactorily and ensures continuity and unburdening of the municipal organization. At the same time, the municipality of Venlo wants to see whether this integrated outsourcing model will also work in the longer term is most appropriate.
