In July 2020, the proposed cabinet decision to move the Marine Corps from the marine barracks in Doorn to Camp Nieuw-Milligen in the municipality of Apeldoorn became final.
The purpose of itThe project is the realization of a new marine barracks for the operational units of the Marine Corps.
The project will be put out to tender by means of a DBFMO agreement.
This DBFMO agreement mainly comprises the design, construction, supply of facility services, to deliverof resources, provision of facilities, maintenance and financing of the barracks. The barracks will be built on the existing barracks Kamp Nieuw-Milligen with the address Meervelderweg 19 in Uddel, municipality of Apeldoorn.
