16. Description: United States Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC) supports world-wide Operational and Concept Plans. The USMC must accomplish assigned missions in environments with significant resource and technology challenges, while balancing conventional combat power and accomplishing other non-traditional military missions. MARFORPAC provides: MARFOR and component level strategic operational planning; advocacy for current force structure changes; planning, integration, and use of Command and Control Systems, networks, and equipment; technical oversight and management of Marine Corps Command and Control Systems, networks, and equipment; distributed laydown in the INDO-PACIFIC Area of Operations; integration of new weapons systems and capabilities; joint, bi-lateral, and service unique military-to-military engagements; U.
