The contract included in the tender relates to the mapping of the seabed in 2024-2026 in up to 15 new protected marine strategic areas, which has been adopted with the agreement on Denmark's Marine Plan, and which is part of the action program under Denmark's Marine Strategy II. The protected marine areas must be mapped for distributionone of the substrate types, the nature types of the habitat directive and the so-called overall habitat types used under the marine strategy directive. In addition, the species composition and diversity of flora and fauna on the various seabed types are mapped and described. The results from the mapping must be presentedin a combined report.
