1 General description 1.1 About the Client The client for this competition is Møre og Romsdal county municipality at the competence and industry department, section for marine and environment (and the municipalities of Sunndal, Surnadal, Rindal and Aure). For information about the Contracting Authority, see website: www.mrfylke.no 1.2 About the Assignment - purpose and scope of the procurement Through NVE's grant scheme for natural hazards, it is possible for municipalities to receive grants for mapping critical points in streams and waterways. The grant scheme is for municipalities and will help ensure that measures are later implemented to reduce the risk of damage related to flooding. Four municipalities in the Nordre Nordmøre water area, in the Møre and Romsdal water region, have joined forces to map critical points in streams and steep watercourses in accordance with NVE's grant scheme for natural hazards - Mapping critical points in streams and steep watercourses and NVE Guide 3/2015 "How to map critical points in streams and steep watercourses".
