EPFL intends to acquire a lot of three individual and manual stations for
#1 Piranha type cleaning
#2 withdrawal/dilution of organic resins by solvents
#3 Basic chemical/acid standard chemical cleaning
As platform equipment for its center of Mirconanotechnology (CMI).
The CMI is An installation of white rooms dedicated to micro/nano manufacturing, central for all EPFL faculties, as well as for local industrialists ( 500 active users per year).
This batch of three individual stations will be dedicated to cutting -edge research needs in microphone and nano Manufacturing, and more particularly as key cleaning steps to ensure and/or find surface properties compatible with the domain.
Great importance will be given not only to the quality of each chemical station, but also to their ease of use and in Usely, their safety linked to the necessary maintenance actions, and to their flexible but nevertheless robust capacity for controlling the treatments envisaged in a R&D type environment.
Proximity, supplier's responsiveness, the quality of the support available (technique, processes) as well that the availability of long -term spare parts, control system and software included, will also be of great importance.
