NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES A RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED
In accordance with FAR 6.201-1 the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, CA intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis for the following items:
Mandrel Set part numbers 12934-80139701 and 12934-80139702
This requirement is sole sourced Advanced Ceramics Manufacturing is the only source that can provide mandrels that can be replaced with every part, is non-toxic, can withstand elevated temperatures and compatible with existing equipment
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES: no solicitation or RFQ will be forth coming. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4/6/26 by 4:00 PM PST. The written response shall reference solicitation number N68936-26-SIMACQ-D555000-0016 and must provide a clear and concise capability statement to show the ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability and schedule.
