REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI 26-007)Information MDR Services Introduction Export Development Canada (EDC) is gathering information on vendors who provide 24x7x365 Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services that may strengthen its cybersecurity posture. The objective is to ensure continuous monitoring, rapid detection, and effective response to security threats across EDC-s digital environment. Core capabilities of interest include advanced threat detection, triage, and full value remediation of incidents, leveraging industry best practices and threat intelligence to minimize risk and maintain compliance with applicable regulations, ranging from level 1 (First line detection) through to level 4 (DFIR) functions.EDC uses Microsoft security operations tools currently as part of its current operating model. We would like to better understand both: Full stack MDR solutions offered in market (where the vendor is “bringing their own tools” Solution models that augment the Microsoft XDR stack.
