The object will be implemented at a fixed price as an overall contract, where the contractor selected for the work acts as the main contractor as defined by the YSE 1998 conditions and legislation in position as the acting main implementer. The total area of the Malmi elementary school and daycare complex is approximately 11, 993 brm2. The total area of the extension is approximately 9963 brm2, and the area of the courtyard buildings is approximately 117 brm2. Fundamentally improveable The surface area of the building with the sr2 protection mark is approximately 1913 brm2. The contract is described in more detail in the attachments to the request for tenders. The construction project will also include the construction of courtyards, including school and kindergarten courtyards as well as courtyards for maintenance in the extent shown in the plans. The project plan has been approved. The building permit application has been approved by the Environment and Permit Division of the City of Helsinki on February 26, 2026. The building permit is not yet legally binding. The site is located in Helsinki Malmin (Ylä-Malmi) in the district at the street address Kirkonkyläntie 17, 00700 Helsinki. According to the current estimate, the goal is to sign the contract in May 2026. The target start time for construction work is June 2026. the completion time is twenty-three (23) months, during which all works must be completed and accepted and the inspections required by the authorities must be held by the end of May 2028.
