This assignment concerns a framework agreement for the preventive, curative and structural maintenance of road and cycling infrastructure in the territory of the municipality of Aalter for a period of four years. The aim of the assignment is to improve the quality, to ensure safety, sustainability and availability of the municipal road network in a cost-efficient manner. This involves a balanced combination of preventive maintenance measures, local repairs and structural interventions, tailored to the current state of the infrastructure and the policy objectives of the local government. The assignment supports the implementation of the municipal road management policy, where priorities are determined on the basis of objective road inspections, condition measurements, reports from citizens, identified safety risks, planned utility works and strategic policy choices. The works are carried out in accordance with the provisions of Standard Specifications 250 for Road Construction, version 5, and include all necessary performances, deliveries, signaling, quality controls, inspections and secondary works that are required for correct execution according to the rules of the art.
