Description

IntroductionThis is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued, and quotations will not be requested. PurposeThe National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate a firm-fixed priced purchase order on a sole source basis with Arcadis U.S., Inc., located at 1210 Premier Dr STE 200, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37421. The purchase order will specifically procure maintenance and repair support services for NIST Small Chamber Emission Testing System for a one-year base period with options for four additional service years.



AuthorityThis acquisition is being conducted under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106(b)(1) allowing the Contracting Officer (CO) to solicit from one source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811210 - Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a small business size standard of $34.0 million.

DescriptionThe NIST Indoor Air Quality and Ventilation Group within the Building Energy and Environment Division requires support services for its custom small chamber emission testing system and mobile sampling cart system. This shall include software maintenance and enhancements as well as general maintenance and repair support. The Contractor is not responsible for providing parts for repair support but shall be responsible for identifying hardware issues and the parts required to resolve those issues, as well as for performing the actual repairs.
