Tender Details

Maintenance services and spare parts for standard light vehicles The armed forces have more than 7, 000 cars and transport vehicles in their light vehicle fleet, for which the authority needs framework agreements for workshop services and spare parts. A significant part of the vehicle fleet currently consists of older vehicles (model year 2015 and older) and due to the modernization that the Armed Forces is facing, the vehicle fleet must also be gradually replaced, after which newer vehicles will be added to the authority. The vehicle fleet of standard vehicles consist of passenger cars, vans and light trucks as well as trailers and motorcycles. During their technical lifetime, these vehicles must be maintained through maintenance, repairs and spare parts, for which the Armed Forces need framework agreement. The armed forces have their own workshop capacity through the authority's ground workshops which consist of trained workshop staff and technicians who can handle a wide range of vehicle types, including the vehicle makes that are requested in the procurement and more military-specific equipment. Usually, a civilian supplier is engaged to provide workshop services for the agency's standard vehicles, but it happens that the Armed Forces' ground workshop staff carry out work under their own auspices. It is important for the Armed Forces that the framework agreement suppliers are represented near the Armed Forces' operational locations.
