Main inspections 2027 - 2031 of engineering structures on cantonal roads 1.1.1 Initial situation The engineering structures on cantonal roads must fulfill their function reliably at all times. To ensure the safety and preservation of value of the artificial buildings, they are in to be subjected to a main inspection every 5 years. The inspection results with recommended measures form the basis for planning and coordinating any immediate measures, inspections, repairs or replacements.
