The Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) Service Contracting Department, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract that provide Service for Continual Maintenance of Machine Coolant for Industrial Plant Equipment (IPE) in accordance with the draft Statement of Work attached to this notice.
The proposed contract action is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit as a Total Small Business Set Aside utilizing Product Service Code (PSC) J068, Maint/Repair/Rebuild Of Equipment-Chemicals and Chemical Products. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code applicable to this procurement is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The small business size standard is $12, 500, 000.
The solicitation and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. The solicitation is expected to be posted to this site: https://www.sam.gov on or around 12 March 2026. Once available, the solicitation will be posted under the solicitation Notice ID N4215826QS012. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at the above website. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations.
Once posted, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the Government. By submitting a quotation, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency.
