Tender are invited for The goal of the M03 Interlocking Renewal project ("the Project") is to renew critical existing District infrastructure at the M03 interlocking in Downtown Oakland. Key elements of this existing District infrastructure, most notably the track components, will require renewal. Renewal of these elements will require removal of the entire existing at-grade track section down to bottom of ballast within the Interlocking Renewal Limits. This removal will affect other existing District infrastructure, such as train control and traction power components, some of which is currently unused or abandoned, that is present within the Interlocking Renewal Limits. Notes : A pre-Bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 09, 2017. The pre-Bid meeting will convene at 9 : 00 AM at the District`s Offices, at Conference Room No. 2200, 22nd Floor at 300 Lakeside Drive, Oakland, California. At the pre-Bid meeting the District`s Non-Discrimination Program for Subcontracting and the District`s Small Business Program will be explained. A guided site tour will be held the next day to visit the M03 Work and Staging Area and the A15 Demonstration and Staging Area. The guided site tour will convene at 1 : 00 a.m. at Maintenance Access MW06 on 4th Street near Jefferson Street, Oakland, California. WBE goal : 12%; This project has a "prevailing wage" requirement.
