In the procurement procedure to be launched with this request for participation, CSC - Science Information Technology Keskus Oy (below the subscriber) selects a developer partner for the Lumi AI Factory data center project.
The data center will be placed in the Renfors beach in Kajaani, where the current operator is already located Liquid-cooled Lumi-Super computer. The production of the data center will begin in the spring of 2027.
In more detail, the developer partner provides a wide range of design, project management and expert services needed to implement the data center at different stages of the project.
The project is implemented As a project management contract where the subscriber and the developer partner implement the data center together with the rest of the project team. The subscriber and the developer partner share the risks and opportunities of the project in accordance with the agreement and the commercial model.
The procurement procedure is public defense and Accelerated limited procedure in accordance with Article 30 of the Security Procurement Act. The procurement procedure is described in more detail in the description of the procedure.
