Description : This project is part of PSPC commitment to ensure that its facilities are accessible to persons with disabilities. The consultant shall study and present options for the construction of a permanent ramp or other accessible option located in the loading dock area. This ramp or other options, like a vertical access, shall comply with, but not be limited to, the National Building Code, the latest CSA 651 standard, latest CSA B355 Platform lifts and stair lifts for barrier-free access standard and the Ontario Building Code, and shall allow safely, independently and fairly access to the building. The consultant shall investigate all possible options for the construction of a ramp and all possible options for enclosed vertical platform lifts and enclosed stair platform lifts. This ramp or other access option shall not impede access to users who do not require the use and allow all users to move safely.
