Tender are invited for This particular area of the building was constructed around 1905, 11 stories in heights that utilizes concrete-encased steel girders with reinforced concrete joists and concrete floor slabs. The exterior walls, mentioned here for reference only, are constructed of clay tile masonry faced with brick veneer. The existing 8th floor conference rooms across from the main elevators were analyzed for their ability to support floor loading associated with the proposed Health Clinic. That analysis concluded that no modifications to the existing floor structure are necessary as part of the Health Clinic fit-up. A staging area has been identified to minimize disruption to the facility during the renovation, which may occur during regular business hours. Refer to Staging Plans. The interior walls will be standard commercial construction, with a Lab, Office, Restroom, and Exam space in addition to general storage. The existing HVAC, power/data, and fire protection systems will be modified to accommodate the Health Clinic, and new lighting will be provided.
