Sources Sought: This Notice is Market Research to support inclusion of a Sole Source (Brand Name) specification for Department of Veterans Affairs Northern California Health Care System Livermore, Phase A - Construction of a Community Living Center, French Camp, CA. This is NOT a Request for Proposal.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer, Sacramento District intends to specify the below listed items as part of a construction contract; Department of Veterans Affairs Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) Livermore Phase A - Construction of Community Living Center, French Camp, CA. The Government will not purchase these items directly but will require the construction contractor to provide these items. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, for the specific item listed below, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government, FAR 6.302-1(c), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirement -Brand Name Items.” Below is the list of Brand Name Items.
1. BEST Brand - Door Security Key System, BEST 1CP-7-WA-2-626 Lock Core System, to provide for the master keying of all key lock operated doors for multiple facilities. Door security key system must be interfaced seamlessly with the current BEST Access Series Lock Core System installed throughout the VANCHCS campuses for remote monitoring, maintenance, and operations.
2. HID pivClass Readers Model # RP40-H920PHRNEK00005 and Sielox Access Card Reader Systems for a secured PIV Badge system. The new system must be connected to the existing VANCHCS campus network system for remote monitoring and management.
