The Effective Governance for Economic Development (EGED) is a programme funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) to improve the effectiveness, accountability, and transparency of economic policies in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.Uzbekistan has embarked on significant economic reforms that affect most citizens. If the applicant is to make use of existing equipment and infrastructure, please note this in the proposal. If new equipment and infrastructure will be purchased and/or organized as part of this study, please note and include the any cost of this equipment that will be charged to the World Bank in the financial proposal.
