INTRODUCTION: This Sources Sought notice is issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy-FEM- San Antonio, Texas. This is NOT a solicitation for proposal. No awards will be made from the responses to this announcement.
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aerospace Energy Business Unit, as the Department of War (DOW) Integrated Materiel Manager (IMM) for Aerospace Energy products and related services, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on a full and open competitive basis. This requirement is for the filling of Liquid Oxygen (LOX), Type II, Grade A (NSN 6830-01-644-2463) of MIL-PRF-27210J, dated August 2013, within the RAAF Base Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia (DRW). The Contractor shall provide all products, supplies, management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to provide liquid oxygen on an f.o.b. destination basis into-storage or on-demand commercial servicing agreement with a contractor within RAAF Darwin. An award of a five (5) year contract is anticipated for a total estimated quantity of 10, 000 gallons. The following associated service CLINS will be included for Tank Hot fills, Fill Line Restriction Orifice, Expedite/Emergency Delivery, and Detention Fee. The contractor shall deliver the Liquid Oxygen f.o.b. destination to RAAF Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia.
