Description
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.

Technical evaluation criteria are as follows:
Must be demonstrably compatible with JEOL X3-series Electron Spin Resonance Spectrometers Must be able to achieve a variable temperature range of 2.5 K to 420 K. Must be able to achieve a 15 minute cool down time from 293 K to 2.5 K Must achieve a temperature stability of ±0.5 K Must not consume more than 1.5 L of liquid Helium per hour at 4.5 K Must accept a dewar adapter diameter of 5/8 inch Must be compatible with a power supply of 100V - 200V AC, 1 Amp Must accept sample tube with 5 mm outer diameter Must be compatible with the following JEOL ESR cavities: ES-UCX2, MCX1A, MCX3B, ODMRC, 14040DMC Must include the following components: the cryostat itself (inclusive of heater and sensor), transfer line, dewar adapter, Flow meter, and temperature controll...
