project description
the site of work is the lions head marina in lions head, ontario. lions head is located on the west shore of georgian bay approximately 50 km southeast of tobermory.
the work consists of, but not limited to, the following:
salvaging and reinstating existing displaced armour rock adjacent to the breakwater.
supply and installation of new core stone and armour stone to build up the existing rubble mound breakwater and rock protection around the government wharf.
excavation and removal of existing infill material adjacent to existing breakwater.
supply and installation of a new concrete base for navigational aid, including reinstatement of existing navigational aid on new concrete base.
minor concrete repairs to the existing government wharf.
