An important objective of the Programme Vallée du Niger (ProVaNi) is to support the government and the people of Niger with the development of a longterm vision and strategic planning for the sustainable management of natural resources in the Niger River Valley in Niger. This market orientation aims to gauge the interest of organizations that are available and capable of carrying out an assignment focusing on supporting this process. The purpose of this consultation is not to gain insight into stakeholders and initiatives, as this has already been conducted and is currently being further elaborated in more detail by an external ProVaNi program consortium of partners. It is not a request for proposals, and submitting a proposal or motivation letter is therefore not allowed. This analysis helps to identify opportunities, challenges, and potential collaboration dynamics that may influence the successful implementation of the programme and the role of the Liaison Officer.
