DLA MARITIME PUGET SOUND intends to procure the following items: 1 each, Forward Sleeve, Seal/Bearing (Inconel); 1 each Sleeve, Coupling Cover (Copper Nickel) for Stern Tube Shaft; 1 each Sleeve, Grounding Device (Monel); 1 each Sleeve, Coupling Cover (Copper Nickel) for Propeller Shaft); and 1 each Sleeve, Aft Bearing Sleeve (Copper Nickel) for Propeller Shaft, all per military ordering data requirements to be provided in the solicitation document, along with Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs). This is a Level1 procurement. The vendor quoting and the manufacturer must be qualified to the MIL specs or the ISO 9000 system series. Vendors must state the Level of Certification of the manufacturer and their company.
The Requested delivery date is 03 August 2015. The solicitation will be issued as a non-commercial RFP in accordance with FAR Part 15. The applicable NAICS Code is 331529. This requirement will be solicited as full and open competition. The resultant award will be a firm fixed-price supply contract for delivery to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Immediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS and IMF), Bremerton, WA. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. Offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). To be considered for award, vendors must submit their proposals on the solicitation document posted to NECO to include pricing and completion of all certifications and representations contained in the document.
Offerors not submitting a fully completed offer will be considered non-responsive and will not be considered for award. The solicitation number for this requirement is SPMYM2-15-R-0005. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download on or around 24 March 2015. The closing date of the solicitation will be on or around 23 April 2015 at 2:00 PM Pacific Local Time, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. The RFP will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link at https://www.neco.navy.mil and will also be available for download at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted.
Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
