ESMA will have to select and subsequently authorise and supervise Consolidated Tape Providers (CTPs) under Regulation (EU) No 600/2014 (MiFIR). The appointment of CTPs is a key element of working towards a Capital Markets Union (CMU). Consequently, ESMA is seeking to award a framework contract for the provision of legal advice in relation to the design and execution of the CTP selection process.
