Tenders Are Invited An artist's life creates and leaves behind a number of works of art. It also creates and leaves behind a number of documents that tell something about the artist's life, and a number of objects that have been part of the artist's work in various ways. How to take care of all this material when the artist passes away? How do you summarize and document an artist's life? Such questions have become increasingly relevant in recent years, and the Culture Council therefore wants to strengthen knowledge about how what is here called the legacy of visual artists is handled today and insight into how it can or should be handled in the futurethe mealtime. Funds are being announced for an investigation project which 1) will analyze the problem area and map the current situation, and 2) identify and investigate possible measures. The project limits itself to the field of visual art, more specifically visual artists, artisans and photographers.
