1. Introduction
The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) was established under Republic Act No. 11641, known as the Department of Migrant Workers Act, to protect and promote the welfare of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). As part of its mandate, DMW must establish and maintain regional offices across the country to provide efficient and accessible services to OFWs and their families.
In line with this, the DMW Regional Office IX requires an office space in Zamboanga City that meets specified standards to ensure a conducive working environment for its personnel and clients.
